How to reach our location

La Vignaredda Residenza di Charme is located in Aggius, an idyllic village of the Gallura which is easily accessible from the airport in Olbia (the Costa Smeralda Airport), about a 55-minute drive by care, while it’s about 90 minutes from the Alghero Airport.

The train and bus stations are located in Tempio Pausania, about 7 kilometres from Aggius. A bus service connects Aggius to the main tourist locations in the Gallura. The train is used exclusively for tourist travel, the famous Trenino Verde (Little Green Train) travels during the summer season and connects Tempio Pausania with the port of Palau.

Public transport connects the main towns, but to explore and learn about most of the Gallura’s secrets and discover the most beautiful and unspoilt creeks, you must either rent a car or a motorcycle.

Aggius is part of the Associazione Bandiera Arancione (the quality of tourism – environment for the Italian hinterland) and of the Associazione Borghi Autentici d’Italia (Authentic Villages of Italy).

It is a village of 1,500 inhabitants in the hills at 500 meters above sea level. It consists of ancient granite houses, nestled in a landscape of oak trees and rocks of different and fantastic shapes.

It is located in the territory of the Gallura (Northern Sardinia). It is 18 km from the beaches of Isola Rossa and Badesi (about half an hour drive on the scenic roads). In particular, these two beaches have shallow and warm water and white sand, also making them suitable for children.

One side of the La Vignaredda overlooks the small historical centre with easy access to shops (supermarkets, chemist’s/pharmacy, bank, newsagent), restaurants and bars, while on the other side it opens onto the large garden and a huge panoramic valley. In Tempio Pausania there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
